Abstract:
Objective To study the clinic intensity of high energy laser combined with pain point block in the treatment of periarthritis of shoulder.
Methods A total of 100 patients with periarthritis of shoulder were randomly divided into the observation group and control group using the digital table method. The control group was treated with pain point block, and the observation group was additionally treated with high intensity laser based on the control group for 4 weeks. The pain visual analogue (VAS) score, Constant-Murley shoulder joint score (CMS), and shoulder joint mobility between two groups were compared before and after treatment, and the comprehensive treatment effects were evaluated.
Results The CMS and VAS scores in two groups were significantly improved after treatment, and which in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group (P < 0.01).The shoulder joint mobility in two groups was significantly improved after treatment (P < 0.01).After treatment, the internal rotation, external rotation, forward flexion and abduction of shoulder joint in observation group were higher than those in control group (P < 0.01), and the clinical efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P < 0.05).
Conclusion The high intensity laser therapy based on the pain point block can significantly improve the shoulder joint function, pain symptoms and joint range of motion in patients with periarthritis of shoulder.
