Abstract:
Objective:To observe the effects of different doses of candesartan in the treatment of the diabetic nephropathy(DN) complicated with hypertension and its safety.
Methods:Sixty patients with DN complicated with hypertension were randomly divided into the observation group and control group(30 cases each group), which were treated with 8mg and 16 mg of candesartan by oral once a day, respectively. The levels of 24h urine albumin, serum albumin and blood pressure in two groups before and after treatment were observed.
Results:Compared with before treatment, the 24 h urine albumin and blood pressure in two groups after treatment decreased significantly(
P<0.01).The levels of plasma albumin in two groups after treatment increased, and its rising degree in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group(
P<0.05).
Conclusions:The treatment of the DN complicated with hypertension with candesartan can significantly reduce the levels of 24 h urinary albumin and blood pressure of patient, and which can play a good protection on the kidneys.
