Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the influence of evidence-based nursing on complications and prognosis for patients with myasthenia gravis crisis.
Methods:The research method of evidence-based medicine was used to the patients with myasthenia gravis crisis.Forty-four cases in intervention group were treated with evidence-based care,and another 38 patients in control group were just given routine nursing care.The incidence of complications and indicators of health economics were evaluated between the two groups.
Results:With Evidence-based nursing,the incidences of pulmonary infection and affective disorder were lower than those in control group(
P<0.05 and
P<0.01).In addition,the length of stay and the hospitalization expenses were decreased in the intervention group.
Conclusions:Evidence-based nursing can lower incidence of complications and gain better prognosis after myasthenia gravis crisis,which suggested that evidence-based nursing should be practiced on an early stage.
