Abstract:
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of tension free obturator tape technique(TOT) in the treatment female stress urinary incontinence(SUI).
Methods:Thirty-two patients with SUI were treated with TOT.The effect of surgery were follow-up at postoperative 6 and 24 months.
Results:The operative time,blood loss,postoperative hospital stay and surgical success rate in 32 cases were 28-46 min,22-56 ml,was 4-7 d and 96.9%,respectively.No serious complication was found.The differences of the surgery efficacy,score of quality of life,residual urine and maximum urinary flow rate between all cases were not statistically different at postoperative 6 and 24 months(
P>0.05).
Conclusions:The treatment of female SUI with TOT is safe,effective,and good long term effect.
