Abstract:
Objective:To evaluate the clinical effects of the hip prosthetic replacement in treating the unstable intertrochanteric fracture in elderly patients.
Methods:Twenty elderly patients with unstable intertroehanteric fraetures were treated with hip prosthetic replacement,and the excellent and good rate in all cases were evaluated by Harris scoring system.
Results:All operation were successful operation,the patients were followed up for 6 to 36 months.The hip joint function recovered to the pre-injury level.The excellent and good rate evaluated by Harris scoring system was 90%.
Conclusions:The treatment of the unstable intertrochanteric fracture in elderly patients with hip prosthetic replacement is a better choice.
