Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the application of problem-based model of care in the rescue of critical patients in department of Neurology.
Methods:A total of 206 critical patients in department of Neurology 206 were divided into the control group and observation group(103 cases each group) according to the hospital date. The control group and observation group were treated with the conventional nursing mode and problem-based care model intervention based on the conventional nursing mode, respectively. The successful rate of rescue, mortality rate, effective rescue time, average day of hospitalization and satisfaction degree of patients between two groups were compared.
Results:After the intervention, the mortality and successful rescue rates in control group(21.36% and 68.93%) were higher and lower than those in observation group(9.71% and 85.44%),respectively.The differences of the mortality and successful rescue rates between two groups were statistically significant(
P<0.05).The effective rescue and average day of hospitalization time in observation group were shorter than those in control group(
P<0.01 and
P<0.05).The satisfaction degree in observation group was better than that in control group(
P<0.05).
Conclusions:The application of problem-based model of care in the critical patients in department of Neurology can shorten the rescue time, improve the success rate and reduce mortality, which can be conducive to spreading in Neurology nursing work.
