Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the related factors influencing the prognosis of patients with paraquat(PQ) poisoning.
Methods: Eighty-nine patients with acute PQ were divided into the survival group(48 cases) and death group(41 cases) according to the prognosis of disease. The relationship between gender, age, plasma PQ concentration, WBC count, BUN, Scr, ALT, AST, CKMB and K
+ and the prognosis of PQ patients were analyzed.
Results: The plasma PQ concentration, WBC count, Scr, BUN, ALT, CKMB and AST in death group were higher than those in survival group, but the plasma level of K
+ in death group was lower than that in survival group(
P<0.05 to
P<0.01).
Conclusions: Plasma PQ concentration is the key influencing prognosis factor in PQ patients, meanwhile, the WBC, Scr, ALT, CKMB, AST and plasma level of K
+ affect also the prognosis of PQ patients.
