    高压氧治疗对脑膜瘤术后脑水肿及其所致神经功能缺损的实效性评价

    Effectiveness evaluation of hyperbaric oxygen in the treatment of neural function impairment casued by the postoperative cerebral edema in patients with meningiomas

    • 摘要: 目的:探讨高压氧(HBO)治疗对脑膜瘤术后脑水肿的疗效。方法:将54例脑膜瘤患者分为观察组和对照组各27例;所有患者术后均接受常规治疗,观察组同时进行HBO治疗。比较2组脑水肿的变化和神经功能康复情况。结果:治疗后观察组患者脑水肿体积和神经功能缺损评分下降幅度均明显大于对照组(P<0.01),Barthe I指数上升幅度明显高于对照组(P<0.01)。2组患者复发率差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论:脑膜瘤术后行HBO治疗可促进脑水肿消退,改善神经功能。

       

      Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effects of hyperbaric oxygen(HBO) on the postoperative cerebral edema in patients with meningiomas. Methods: Fifty-four patients with meningiomas were divided into the observation group and control group(27 cases each group). All patients were treated with the conventional method after operation, and the observation group were additionally treated with HBO. The cerebral edema and neurologic function recovery between two groups were compared. Results: After treatment, the volume of cerebral edema and decreased degree of neurologic impairment score in observation group were obviously more than those in control group(P<0.01). The increased degree of Barthe I index in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.01). The difference of the recurrence rate between two group was not statistically significant(P>0.05). Conclusions: The postoperative treatment of meningiomas with HBO can promote the fade away of cerebral edema, and improve the neurologic function.
