Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the expressions of aquaporin1(AQP1) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissue and their correlations.
Methods:The expressions of AQP1 and VEGF in 41 samples of cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissues, 55 samples of cervical intraepithelial neoplasisa(CIN) tissue and 22 samples of normal cervical tissue were detected by immunohistochemical method, and their correlations were analyzed.
Results:The positive rates of AQP1 in cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissue and CIN tissue were 90.24% and 81.82%, respectively, which was higher than that in normal cervical tissue(40.91%)(
P<0.01).The positive rates of VEGF in cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissue and CIN tissue were 100.00% and 96.36%, respectively, which was significantly higher than that in normal cervical tissue(63.64%)(
P<0.01).The differences of the expressions of AQP1 and VEGF between cervical squamous cell carcinoma and CIN tissue were not statistically significant(
P>0.05).The differences of the expressions of AQP1 in different ages and histological grades in cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissue were not statistically significant(
P>0.05), the expression of AQP1 was significantly positive correlation with the expression of VEGF(
P<0.01).
Conclusions:The expressions of AQP1 and VEGF in cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissue and CIN tissue are upregulated, which may be related to the occurrence and development of the cervical squamous carcinoma.
