Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the effects of hydrogen peroxide(H
2O
2) on the expression of interleukin-37(IL-37) in EA.hy926 cells.
Methods: The expressions of IL-37 mRNA and protein in different time-points of human umbilical vein endothelial cell treated with different concentration of H
2O
2 were detected by qRT-PCR and Western blot.
Results: The results of qPCR showed that the levels of IL-37 mRNA in human umbilical vein endothelial cell treated with different concentration of H
2O
2 significantly increased,which was the concentration-dependent(
P<0.01).The results of Western blot showed that the level of IL-37 protein in human umbilical vein endothelial cell treated with H
2O
2 for 20 h was significantly higher than that in control group(
P<0.01).
Conclusions: The expression of IL-37 in human umbilical vein endothelial cell can be up-regulated by H
2O
2,which may be helpful to study the role of IL-37 in cellular oxidative stress.
