Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the factor influencing the accuracy of diabetes treated with insulin bolus wizard pump calaculateor.
Methods: A total of 100 type 2 diabetic patients were treated with insulin pump for 8 days, and the blood glucose level was measured for 8 times in a day.The patients were divided into 3 groups according to the mean blood glucose level of the first day.The insulin-to-carbohydrate ratio(ICR) and insulin sensitivity factor(ISF) between three groups were analyzed.
Results: The ICR and ISF value in 3 groups significantly increased at 8th day of treatment(
P<0.01),and the differences of ICR and ISF between three groups were statistically signifcant(
P<0.01).The ICR and ISF were linearly negative correlation with the blood glucose level after breakfast, supper, and lunch(
P<0.01).
Conclusions: In the process of treating diabetes with bolus wizard, the ICR and ISF are related to the mean blood glucose level on the first day and glucose after meal. The timely adjusting the ICR and ISF can improve the accuracy of insulin use.
