Abstract:
Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of vidarabine monophosphate,narrow-band ultraviolet combined with and LED photodynamics in the treatment of herpes zoster, and investigate the influencing factors of postherpetic neuralgia(PHN).
Methods:One hundred and eighty-two patients with acute herpes zoster were randomly divided into the observation group(77 cases treated with vidarabine monophosphate,narrow-band ultraviolet combined with and LED photodynamics) and control group(106 cases treated with vidarabine monophosphate combined with narrow-band ultraviolet). The indicators of herpes, visual analogue scale(VAS) score, comprehensive curative effects and incidence rates of postherpetic neuralgia between two groups were analyzed.
Results:The times of response, scab form and decrustation in observation group were significantly shorter than those in control group(
P<0.01).The VAS score after 10 days of treatment in observation group was lower than that in control group(
P<0.01).The total effective rate in observation group was higher than that in control group(
P<0.05),and the incidence rates of PHN at 1 month or 3 months of treatment in observation group were lower than that in control group(
P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the age and VAS score before treatment were the independent risk factor of PHN(
P<0.05 to
P<0.01).
Conclusions:The effect of vidarabine monophosphate,narrow-band ultraviolet combined with and LED photodynamics in the treatment of herpes zoster is significant, which can prevent the incidence of PHN.
