Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the application value of the five-item detection of aerobic vaginitis/bacterial vaginosis(AV/BV) in the evaluation of vaginal microflora.
Methods:One hundred and ten healthy examination women were investigated from December 2012 to January 2015.The vaginal pH,Gram staining and cleanliness in all cases were detected using conventional methods, which was used to analyze the vaginal flora. The five-item detection of AV/BV was implemented.
Results:The normal vaginal flora in 42 cases(38.18%) and abnormal vaginal flora in 68 cases(61.82%) were identified. The preformed enzyme positive rate in female cases with abnormal vaginal flora was significantly higher than that in female cases with normal vaginal flora(
P <0.05 to
P <0.01).
Conclusions:The five-item detection of AV/BV is simple, safe, reliable, accurate and high sensitive, which can be used as a rapid screening method in clinic, and be more effective to evaluate the vaginal microflora.
