Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the correlation between the gene polymorphism of CYP4F2 and coronary heart disease(CHD) in Yunnan Han population.
Methods: The polymorphisms of rs2108622 and rs3093135 single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) in CYP4F2 gene of 198 normal people(control group) and 514 patients with CHD(CHD group) were genotyped using the SEQUENOM Mass-ARRAY system.The correlation between the gene polymorphism of CYP4F2 and CHD was analyzed.
Results: The difference of two allele frequencies between two group was statistically significant(
P<0.01).After adjusting the age,gender and body mass index,the logistic regression analysis showed that the CHD risk of patients with rs2108622 T allele decreased(
P<0.05),and the CHD risk of patients with rs3093135 A allele decreased(
P<0.05).
Conclusions: The gene polymorphism of CYP4F2 is correlated with the risk of the CHD in Yunnan Han population.
