Abstract:
Objective: To compare the serum level of thymidine kinase 1 between respiratory inflammation and lung cancer patients.
Methods: The acute inflammation patients, tumor patients and healthy people were divided into the inflammation group, tumor group and control group, respectively. The levels of TK1 between three groups were compared, and the correlation between TK1 and C-reactive protein(CRP) in inflammation group was analyzed.
Results: The serum levels of TK1 in inflammation group and cancer group were higher than that in control group(
P<0.05 to
P<0.01).The serum level of TK1 in inflammation group was higher than that in cancer group(
P<0.01).The TK1 level was significantly positively correlated with CRP level in inflammation group(
P<0.01).
Conclusions: Compared with tumor patient and healthy people, the serum level of TK1 in patients with respiratory inflammation significantly increases, and which is highly correlated to the CRP level.
