Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the effects of daily sedation awakening combined with early functional exercise on patients with invasive mechanical ventilation in Intensive Care Unit.
Methods:Forty-seven patients with invasive mechanical ventilation from 2013 to 2014 and 47 cases with invasive mechanical ventilation from 2015 to 2016 were divided into the control group and observation group, respectively. The control group and observation group were treated with routine nursing intervention and daily sedation awakening combined with early functional exercise, respectively. The mechanical ventilation time,ICU stay time, total hospitalization time,ventilator-associated pneumonia incidence, pipeline off event and mortality between two groups were compared.
Results:The mechanical ventilation time,ICU stay time and total hospitalization time in observation group were shorter than those in control group(
P<0.05 to
P<0.01).The differences of the ventilator-associated pneumonia incidence, pipeline off event and mortality between two groups were not statistically significant(
P>0.05).
Conclusions:The daily sedation awakening combined with early functional exercise in treating the patients with invasive mechanical ventilation can short the mechanical ventilation time and ICU stay time, and promote the rehabilitation of patients in ICU.
