Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the effects of self-made ultrasonic examining bed in the screening of development dislocation of hip(DDH).
Methods:Three hundred and twenty hip joints in 160 infants born more than 42 days were detected by ultrasound. The cases were examined using common examining bed combined with fixing the infant hip and lower limbs by hand by three doctors, and the cases were examined using infant hip joint ultrasonic examining bed again. The examining date between two methods were compared.
Results:The deviation of α angle and β angle in left and right sides detected by infant hip joint examining bed were significantly less than those detected by the common bed(
P<0.01).The difference of right side total result detected by FHC was significantly less than that of common bed(
P<0.01).The intraclass correlation coefficient(ICC) of examination result using common bed by three doctors was less than 0.4,the consistency of which was poor. The intraclass correlation coefficient of examination result using infant hip joint examining bed was more than 0.75,the consistency of which was good.
Conclusions:Ultrasonic examining bed for infant hip joint can significantly eliminate the anthropic factor influencing, and reduce the degree variation of date.
