Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the self-health management status of perimenopausal nurses and its related influencing factors,in order to provide theoretical basis in the implementation of self-health management intervention of perimenopausal nurses.
Methods: The general information, health promoting behavior scale(HPLP-Ⅱ) of 574 female nurses(more than 40 year old) from the municipal hospitals selected by cluster sampling method were investigated by questionnaire survey.
Results: The total score of self-health management of perimenopausal nurses was(130.03±22.48).Among the self-actualization,health responsibility, exercise, nutrition, interpersonal relationship and stress coping of HPLP-Ⅱ,the score of self-actualization was the highest, and the score of excise was the lowest. The score of self-health management of perimenopausal nurses was lower than that of nurses without chronic disease and gynecological disease(
P<0.05 to
P<0.01).The score of self-health management of perimenopausal nurses with exercise every day and exercising regularly was higher than that of nurses with never and occasional exercise(
P<0.05 to
P<0.01).
Conclusions: The self-health management status of perimenopausal nurses is not optimistic. The prevention of some chronic diseases and gynecological diseases, and increasing the exercise frequency can be used to improve the self-health management status and health of perimenopausal nurses.
