Abstract:
Objective:To explore the expressions and correlations of G-protein coupled receptor 30(GPR30),estrogen receptor
α(ER
α) and cyclin D1 in papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC) tissues.
Methods:The expression levels of GPR30,ER
α and cyclin D1 in 76 PTC samples were detected using immunohistochemical S-P method. The differences of the positive expression rates of GPR30,ER
α and cyclin D1,and correlations of GPR30,ER
α and cyclin D1 with pathological features were analyzed.
Results:The positive expression rates of GPR30,ER
α and cyclin D1 in PTC tissues were 67.1%,76.3% and 78.9%,respectively,and the expressions of GPR30,ER
α and cyclin D1 in normal thyroid tissues around cancer were not found. The positive expression rates of GPR30 and cyclin D1 in patients with lymph node metastasis were higher than those in patients without metastasis(
P<0.05 and
P<0.01),which was not related to the age and gender of patients, and size and MACIS score of tumor. The expression rate of ER
α in female patients was higher than that in male(
P<0.01),and which in patients with tumor diameter ≥ 2 cm or <2 cm was not related to the age of patients, lymph node metastasis and MACIS score of tumor(
P>0.05).The expressions of GPR30,ER
α and cyclin D1 between any two in PTC tissues was positively correlated(
P<0.01).
Conclusions:The GPR30 and ER
α combined with estrogen can affect the occurrence and development of PTC,which can be set as the potential targets of clinical diagnosis and treatment。
