Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effects of the time nursing model on the respiratory function and quality of life in elderly patients with lung cancer after operation.
Methods:Ninety elderly patients with lung cancer after operation were randomly divided into the observation group and control group by random number table method(45 cases each group). The control group was nursed using routine nursing method, and the observation group was additionally nursed with the time nursing model based on the routine nursing. The incidence rate of respiratory complications, hospitalization and quality of life between two groups were compared.
Results:The incidence rate of complications in control group was higher than that in observation group(
P<0.05).The indexes of SpO
2 and vital capacity in observation group were significantly better than those in control group(
P<0.01).The indwelling time of intrathoracic drainage tube, getting out of bed time after operation and hospitalization time in observation group were significantly shorter than those in control group(
P<0.01).The score of quality of life in observation group was significantly better than that in control group(
P<0.01).
Conclusions:The time nursing model can effectively reduce the occurrence of postoperative respiratory complications, improve respiratory function, speed up the rehabilitation, reduce the hospitalization time and improve the quality of life of elderly patients with lung cancer, which is worthy of application in clinic.
