Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the common risk factors of cerebral infarction in young people.
Methods:The clinical data of 197 patients with the first attacked cerebral infarction in different age groups were retrospectively analyzed. The relationship between young people and common risk factors of cerebral infarction was analyzed.
Results:The ratio of male patients in youth group was higher than that in middle and old age groups(
P<0.01),and the difference of which between middle and old age groups was not statistically significant(
P>0.05).The obesity rate in youth group was lower than that in middle and old age groups(
P<0.01),and the difference of which between middle and old age groups was not statistically significant(
P>0.05).The differences of smoking, drinking, history of hypertension among three groups were not statistically significant(
P>0.05).The levels of blood glucose and homocysteine in old age group were the highest, and which gradually decreased in middle age group and youth group(
P<0.01).The levels of triglyceride and total cholesterol in middle age group and old age group were higher than those in youth group(
P<0.01),and the difference of which between middle and old age groups was not statistically significant(
P>0.05).
Conclusions:The cerebral infarction in young people is common in male patient, which is related to the blood pressure increasing, smoking, drinking alcohol, and so on.Standardized antihypertensive therapy, quit smoking and drinking can help to prevent the occurrence and development of cerebral infarction in young people.
