Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the effects of thoracic laparoscopy combined with esophagectomy and left cervical anastomosis, and its effect on nutritional status of patients.
Methods:One hundred and eighteen esophageal cancer patients were divided into the control group and observation group according to the operation method(59 cases each group). The control group were treated with conventional thoracic esophageal cancer resection combined with gastroesophageal anastomosis, and the observation group were treated with thoracic laparoscopy surgery combined with esophageal cancer resection and left neck anastomosis. The treatment effect between two groups were compared.
Results:The improvement of serum ALB and Hb in two groups after 1 and 2 months of operation were better than those before operation(
P<0.01),and which in observation group was better than that in control group(
P<0.01).After 3 months of operation, the quality of life in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group(
P<0.01).The total incidence of complications in observation group(6.8%) was lower than that in control group(22.0%)(
P<0.05).
Conclusions:Thoracoscopy combined with esophagectomy and left cervical anastomosis in the treatment of esophageal cancer is effective, and few complication, which can improve the nutritional level and quality of life, and promote the recovery of patients.
