Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the effects of group lifestyle transitional care on the quality of life and self-efficacy in cervical cancer patients.
Methods:Forty-five cervical cancer patients treated with comprehensive method from August 2013 to December 2014 were nursed with routine care(control group).Forty-five cervical cancer patients treated with comprehensive method from January 2015 to December 2015 were nursed with group lifestyle transitional care based on the routine care(observation group). The scores of the quality of life scale and self-efficacy scale between two groups were compared.
Results:There was no statistical significance in the scores of physical function, role function, and shortness of breath between two groups(
P>0.05),and the score of quality of life in observation group was significantly better than that in control group(
P<0.05 to
P<0.01).Before the intervention, the difference in the score of self-efficacy between two groups was not statistically significant(
P>0.05).After the intervention, the score of self-efficacy in observation group was significantly higher than before intervention(
P<0.01),and the difference of the score of self-efficacy in control group between before and after intervention was not statistically significant(
P>0.05).
Conclusions:The group lifestyle transitional care can significantly improve the quality of life,self-efficacy and self-management in cervical cancer patients, which plays a very active role on the prognosis of patients.
