Abstract:
ObjectiveTo investigate the preventive effect of Aluminium Phosphate Gel combined with Kangfuxin Liquid retention enema on radiation enteritis after radiotherapy for cervical cancer.
Methods100 cases of cervical cancer in our department from January 2014 to December 2015 were analyzed. The patients were divided into two groups according to random number table. The control group(n=50) was treated with radiotherapy alone, while the treatment group(n=50) was treated with retention enema Aluminium Phosphate Gel and Kangfuxin Liquid. After radiotherapy, colonoscopy and magnetic resonance imaging were performed. The two groups were followed up for one year. The occurrence time of radiation enteritis, the severity of radiation enteritis, and the incidence of radiation enteritis in two groups were compared with those of Vienna rectal speculum.MR imaging of rectal wall thickness and drug toxicity and side effects.
ResultsCompared with the control group, the occurrence time of radiation enteritis in the treatment group was significantly delayed; the incidence of radiation enteritis in the treatment group was significantly reduced from grade 1 to 4;the Vienna rectoscopy score in the treatment group was significantly reduced; the thickness of rectal wall in the treatment group was reduced, and the toxicity and side effects in the treatment group were not significantly increased.
ConclusionsThe observation of Aluminium Phosphate Gel combined with Kangfuxin Liquid can significantly delay the occurrence time of radiation enteritis after radiotherapy, reduce the incidence and severity of cervical enteritis without increasing toxic and side effects, and prevent the occurrence of radiation enteritis caused by radiotherapy for cervical cancer.
