Abstract:
ObjectiveTo evaluate the application effects of double annular placement of lacrimal duct drainage tube guided by nasal endoscope in lacrimal canaliculus fracture anastomosis.
MethodsThe data of 71 patients with aumatic lacrimal canalicular rupture were retrospectively analyzed. The two ends of broken lacrimal canaliculus were found under the microscope. The lacrimal drainage tube was inserted through the upper and lower lacrimal points, and broken ends of lacrimal canaliculus. Then the silicone tube was drawn out under the guidance of nasal endoscopy, and fixed in the nasal cavity. The clinical efficacy and complications in all cases were observed after operation.
ResultsAll cases were successfully anastomosed, and followed up for 12 to 30 months.Fifty-five cases were cured(77.46%), 5 cases were improved(7.04%), and 11 cases were ineffective(15.49%).The lacrimal canalicular rupture in 2 cases, silica gel tube prolapse in 4 cases, and no abnormal eyelid position were found during the follow-up period.
ConclusionsThe double annular placement of lacrimal duct drainage tube guided by nasal endoscope is high cure rate, fewer complications, and an ideal method to treat lacrimal canalicular rupture.
