Abstract:
ObjectiveTo explore the cognition factors and status of self-image cognition in medical students, and propose corresponding management strategies to optimize the self-image cognition education of students.
MethodsThe self-image cognition status of 800 students from a medical college was investigated using questionnaire by stratified sampling method.
ResultsThe self-image cognition level of medical students was ordinary, and the differences of the self-image cognition evaluation among different gender and grade students were statistically significant(P < 0.05 to P < 0.01).The self-image cognition evaluation of the ability and knowledge cultivation in boy students was higher than that in girl students(P < 0.01), the self-image cognition evaluation of the appearance and clothing in girl students was higher than that in boy students(P < 0.01), and the self-image cognition evaluation of the knowledge cultivation, appearance and clothing in senior students was higher than that in other grade students(P < 0.05 to P < 0.01).
ConclusionsThe evaluation of self-image cognition is ordinary, it is urgent to take corresponding measures to strengthen self-image cognition education and improve the self-image of medical students.
