Abstract:
ObjectiveTo compare the differences of self-efficacy and critical thinking among the nursing students with different grades of comprehensive nursing achievement, analyze the correlation between comprehensive nursing achievement of nursing students and their sense of self-efficacy and critical thinking, and explore the influencing factors of comprehensive nursing achievement of nursing students.
MethodsA total of 476 nursing students were investigated using the self-efficacy scale and Chinese Version of the California Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory(CTDI-CV), the differences of self-efficacy and critical thinking among nursing students with different scores of comprehensive nursing achievement were analyzed using the single factor analysis, the correlation between comprehensive nursing achievement, and self-efficacy and critical thinking were analyzed using the correlation analysis method, and the influencing factors of comprehensive nursing achievement of nursing students were analyzed using the regression analysis.
ResultsThere were differences in self-efficacy and critical thinking among nursing students with different scores of comprehensive nursing achievement(P < 0.01), and the comprehensive nursing achievement were positively correlated with their self-efficacy and critical thinking ability(P < 0.01).The results of multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that analytical ability, learning behavior efficacy, open mind, general self-efficacy and systematization ability were included in the regression equation, which could positively predict the nursing students' comprehensive nursing performance.
ConclusionsIn nursing vocational education, giving full play to the independent study and management of nursing students, strengthening the cultivation of students' lifelong learning ability and improving the critical thinking ability reflecting students' comprehensive quality can be used to improve the comprehensive achievement of nursing students.
