Abstract:
ObjectiveTo explore the effects of health management intervention based on Health as Expanding Consciousness(HEC) on health promoting lifestyle in patients with acute pancreatitis.
MethodsA total of 90 patients with acute pancreatitis were randomly divided into the health management group and control group(45 cases each group).The control group were given the routine treatment and nursing intervention for pancreatitis, while the health management group were given the systematic health management intervention on the basis of routine treatment and nursing.The changes of health promoting lifestyle in two groups were compared between before and after intervention.
ResultsThere was no statistical significance in all dimensions of health promotion lifestyle between two groups before intervention(P>0.05).After 1 month of discharge, the scores of health responsibility, exercise, nutrition and stress management in health management group were higher than those in control group(P < 0.05 to P < 0.01), and there was no statistical significance in the scores of self-realization and interpersonal relationship between two groups(P>0.05).After 3 months of discharge, the scores of all dimensons in health management group were higher than those in control group(P < 0.01).In the health management group, the scores of each dimension in after 3 months of dischargep were higher than that after 1 month of discharge, and which after 1 months of dischargh was higher than that before intervention(P < 0.01).
ConclusionsThe HEC-based health management intervention has a positive time effects on the health promotion lifestyle in patients with acute pancreatitis.
