Abstract:
ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of unilateral thyroid tumor resection under endoscopic thyroidectomy through axillary approach without aeration.
MethodsThe clinical data of 69 patients treated with unilateral thyroid tumor resection were analyzed.Thirty-nine patients treated with unilateral thyroid tumor resection under endoscopic thyroidectomy through axillary approach without aeration and 30 patients treated with unilateral thyroid tumor resection were divided into the observation group and control group, respectively. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, 48-hour postoperative drainage volume, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative complications and surgical incision satisfaction were compared between two groups.
ResultsThe operation time and postoperative hospital stay in observation group were longer than that in control group(P < 0.01).The postoperative incision satisfaction in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group(P < 0.01).The differences of the intraoperative blood loss and drainage volume after 48h of operation and postoperative complications were not statistically significant between two groups(P>0.05).
ConclusionsThe unilateral thyroid tumor resection under endoscopic thyroidectomy through axillary approach without aeration has clear clinical effect and good cosmetic effect.
