Abstract:
ObjectiveTo explore the effects of the treadmill exercise combined with elastic band impedance exercise on the cardiac function in patients with grade Ⅲ heart failure.
MethodsA total of 80 patients with grade Ⅲ heart failure from 2018 to 2019 were divided into the control group and observation group according to the random number table method(40 cases in each group). The heart failure in control group was treated with the routine drugs, and the observation group was treated with the treadmill exercise combined with and elastic band impedence exercise on the basis of routine treatment drugs. The 6-min walking distance, cardiac ultrasonic ejection fraction(EF) and n-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP) levels in two groups before and after 1 month of treatment were observed to evaluate the levels of cardiac function.
ResultsAfter intervention, the 6-min walking distance in two groups increased compared with that before intervention(P < 0.01), and the increasing degree of which in observation group was higher than that in control group(P < 0.05).After intervention, the cardiac ultrasound EF value and NT-proBNP levels in two groups increased and decreased, respectively(P < 0.05), and the increasing degree of EF value and decreasing degree of NT-proBNP levels in observation group were greater than those in control group(P < 0.05 and P < 0.01).
ConclusionsThe treadmill exercise combined with elastic band impedence exercise can significantly improve the cardiac function, myocardial contractility and exercise endurance in patients with heart failure.
