Abstract:
ObjectiveTo construct the index system of humanistic caring for clinical nurses based on Noddings' caring theory, and to provide methods and strategies for evaluating the humanistic caring ability of clinical nurses.
MethodsOn the basis of Noddings' caring theory, combined with literature research and qualitative interview, 29 experts from Anhui province were selected to conduct two rounds of Delphi expert consultation for the establishment of evaluation index system of humanistic caring ability for clinical nurses.
ResultsThe positive coefficients of the two rounds of Delphi expert consultation were 96.67% and 100%, and the coefficients of expert authority were 0.86 and 0.87, respectively. The Kendall coordination coefficient of the first round and the second round of expert consultation was 0.282 and 0.276, respectively. The mean value of each index was 4.69-4.93, and the variation coefficient was 0.052-0.169, which met the requirements. After two rounds of Delphi expert consultation, an evaluation index system of humanistic caring ability for clinical nurses with 4 first-level indicators, 12 second-level indicators and 92 third-level indicators was preliminarily constructed.
ConclusionsThe evaluation index system of humanistic caring ability for clinical nurses constructed by Delphi method is reliable, and the experts are active, authoritative, coordinated and concentrated, which can be used as an evaluation tool for humanistic caring ability of clinical nurses.
