Abstract:
ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy of ambroxol combined with budesonide aerosol inhalation in the treatment of neonatal pneumonia.
MethodsThe relevant literature informations were searched from the establishment of the database to September 2019 of PubMed, EMbase, Cochrane, CBM, CNKI, Wanfang Med Online and VIP Journal Resource Network. All relevant randomized controlled trials(RCT) comparing ambroxol aerosol inhalation alone with ambroxol combined with budesonide aerosol inhalation in the treatment of neonatal pneumonia were collected.RevMan5.3 software was used for Meta-analysis, and the Stata 12.0 software was used to evaluate the risk of quality bias.
ResultsA total of 2 124 patients from 16 RCT were included. The results of Meta-analysis showed that the ambroxol combined with budesonide aerosol inhalation in reducing cough disappearance time, expiratory dyspnoea disappearance time, dyspnea disappearance time, pulmonary rales disappearance time, length of hospital stay and overall response rate were better than those of ambroxol aerosol inhalation alone(P < 0.01).
ConclusionsAmbroxol combined with budesonide aerosol inhalation in the treatment of neonatal pneumonia has significant effects, and can shorten the time of outcome indicators.
