Abstract:
ObjectiveTo investigate the correlation between vitamin D level and ovarian reserve function in infertile women.
MethodsEighty infertile women were selected.25(OH)D3, anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH), follicular stimulating hormone (FSH) level were detected.Sinus follicle count (AFC) was observed by ultrasonography. The correlation between 25(OH)D3 level and AMH, FSH, AFC was analyzed.
ResultsAmong the 80 infertile women, 26 cases(32.50%) were deficient in vitamin D, 19 cases(23.75%) were insufficient in vitamin D, and 35 cases(43.75%) were sufficient in vitamin D.There were no significant differences in age, body mass index, infertility years, infertility reasons and endocrine among the 3 groups of patients with different 25(OH)D3 level (P>0.05).Multiple linear regression showed that 25(OH)D3 level was not correlated with AMH, FSH, AFC(P>0.05).
ConclusionsThere was no correlation between vitamin D level and various indicators of ovarian reserve function in infertile women, and vitamin D supplementation may not improve ovarian reserve function in infertile women.
