Abstract:
ObjectiveTo optimize the extraction process of isobavachalcone by alkaline extraction and acid precipitation.
MethodsThe content of isobavachalcone was set as the objective parameter.The effects of solid-liquid ratio, alkali concentration, alkali extraction time, acid precipitation pH, acid precipitation time and ultrasound time on extraction process of isobavachalcone were investigated through single factor test and orthogonal test.
ResultsThe optimal extraction conditions of isobavachalcone by alkaline extraction and acid precipitation were as follows: the ratio of solid-liquid for 1∶ 10, alkali concentration for 4 %, alkali extraction time for 2 h, acid precipitation pH 6, acid precipitation time for 0.5 h and ultrasound time for 20 min.
ConclusionsIn this study, the optimal process conditions have the good repeatability, and it is stable, reliable, economical and environmental-friendly, which can greatly improve the extraction rate of isobavachalcone from Psoralea corylifolia.
