Abstract:
Objective To develop a questionnaire for measuring online learning ability of college students and verify its reliability and validity for providing an effective tool for measuring online learning ability of college students.
Methods Based on the theoretical exploration combined with characteristics of online learning of college students, the open questionaire was conducted to form a preliminary questionnaire with 80 items.Through stratified random sampling, the college students with online teaching were selected for the preliminary test, and 384 valid questionnaires were recovered.After the preliminary test data were analyzed by item analysis and exploratory factor analysis, a formal questionnaire was formed, and used to test the online teaching of college students.Four hundred and thirty-eight valid questionnaires were collected, and the reliability and validity of the formal questionnaire were tested.
Results The questionnaire of college students' online learning ability included the online learning ability, online learning motivation, online learning efficiency and online learning perseverance, with a total of 30 questions.The questionnaire had good Cronbach's α coefficient(0.956), split reliability(0.837) and retest reliability(0.887), and the structure validity and scale validity also met with the requirements.
Conclusions The college students' online learning ability questionnaire has good reliability and validity, and which can be used as an effective tool to measure college students' online learning ability.
