Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the value of serum pepsinogen Ⅰ(PGⅠ),pepsinogen Ⅱ(PGⅡ),PGⅠ/PGⅡ ratio(PGR),gastrin-17(G17) and
Helicobacter pylori(Hp) antibody typing in the diagnosis of chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG).
Methods: A total of 170 patients with chronic gastritis were divided into the CAG group(79 cases) and chronic non-atrophic gastritis(CNAG) group(91 cases). The changes of indicators were compared between two groups.
Results: Ninety-two cases(54.12%) of 170 patients were positive for Hp.Compared with the control group, the Hp antibody positive rate, infection positive rate of type Ⅰ Hp,PGⅡ and G17 levels significantly increased(
P<0.05 to
P<0.01),while the PGR level decreased in the CAG group(
P<0.01).Compared with type Ⅱ Hp positive group, the expression levels of PGⅡ and G17 increased, while the PGR level decreased in the type Ⅰ Hp positive group(
P<0.05).The AUC of PGⅠ,PGⅡ,PGR,G17 and Hp antibody typing were 0.548,0.606,0.361,0.660 and 0.589,respectively.The AUC of combined detection was 0.690.
Conclusions: The level changes of PGⅡ,PGR,G17 and Hp antibody type can be used as the screening indicators of CAG,and the combined detection can provide a more reliable laboratory basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
