Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effects of autologous platelet-rich gel in chronic wound healing. Methods: A total of 57 patients with chronic wounds were selected,and divided into the observation group(29 cases) and control group(28 cases) according to random number table method.The wounds of two groups were treated according to the principle of TIME.After the wound bed was prepared,the control group was treated with routine dressing change,and the observation group was treated with autologous platelet-rich gel.The bacterial positive rate of wound secretions after 14 days of treatment and efficacy of wound treatment after 2 months of treatment(grade Ⅰ wound healing rate and total effective rate) in two groups were observed.Meanwhile,the healing time and treatment cost between two groups were compared. Results: There was no statistical significance in the bacterial positive rate of wounds between two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The bacterial positive rate of wounds in the observation group was lower than that in the control group after 14 days of treatment(P<0.05).The wound healing rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group after two months of treatment(P<0.01).The total effective rate of wound therapy in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.01),the wound healing time in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.01),and the treatment cost in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.01). Conclusions: The autologous platelet-rich gel can inhibit chronic wound bacteria,help to improve the healing rate of chronic wounds,shorten the treatment time and save the cost of treatment,and it is worthy of use.
