Abstract:
Objective: To study the effect of modified Jiedu decoction combined with recombinant human interferon α2a on immune function and levels of cytokeratin 19 fragment antigen (CYFRA21-1) and E2F transcription factor(1E2F-1) in patients with chronic cervicitis complicated with human papillomavirus (HPV) infection.
Methods: A total of 142 patients with chronic cervicitis complicated with HPV infection were randomly divided into observation group (71 cases) and control group (71 cases). The control group was treated with recombinant human interferon α2a,and the observation group was treated with modified Jiedu decoction combined with recombinant human interferon α2a.The clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score, immune function index factors, adverse reactions,CYFRA21-1,E2F-1 levels before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.
Results: The total effective rate of the observation group and HPV negative rate were higher than that of the control group (
P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of leukorrhea, vaginal pruritus, abdominal pain or dull pain, and short red urine decreased significantly, and the scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (
P<0.05).After treatment, serum IgA,IgG and IgM in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (
P<0.05).After treatment, the expression levels of CYFRA21-1 in serum and E2F-1 in cervical tissue were significantly decreased, and the levels of CYFRA21-1 and E2F-1 in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group (
P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (
P>0.05).
Conclusions: Modified Jiedu decoction combined with recombinant human interferon α2a has a significant effect on chronic cervicitis complicated with HPV infection, which can reduce the levels of CYFRA21-1 and E2F-1,improve the immune function of patients, and improve the negative rate of HPV with good safety.
