Abstract:
Objective: To explore the effect of modified narrative care based on COM-B model on the quality of life and self-efficacy of patients with coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).
Methods: A total of 120 patients with coronary heart disease who underwent PCI were selected, including 60 patients in the observation group, which were treated with modified narrative care on the basis of routine nursing;60 cases in the control group were treated with routine nursing in the department of cardiology. The differences in quality of life and self-efficacy between the two groups were compared.
Results: After the intervention, the scores of mental health, general health, physical pain and physiological function of the two groups were significantly increased (
P<0.05),and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group (
P<0.01).After the intervention, the self-efficacy score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (
P<0.01).The self-efficacy score in the observation group after the intervention was higher than that before the intervention (
P<0.01).
Conclusions: The modified narrative care based on COM-B model can effectively improve the quality of life and self-efficacy of patients with coronary heart disease after PCI.
