Abstract:
Objective To explore the current status of sleep disorders in patients with primary Sjögren′s syndrome and its related influencing factors.
Methods One hundred and fifty patients with primary Sjögren′s syndrome were selected as the research subject. The Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI) was used to investigate the sleep quality of patients, and the related influencing factors were analyzed.
Results The differences of PSQI total score and accompanying symptoms between sleep disorder group and non-sleep disorder group were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The age, HADS score, FSS score, ESSPRI score, ESSDAI score, ESR, interleukin-6, IgG, IgA, IgM and quantitation of antinuclear antibody in the sleep disorder group were higher than those in non-sleep disorder group(P < 0.05), and the C3 in the sleep disorder group was lower than that in non-sleep disorder group(P < 0.05).The PSQI was positively correlated with the age, HADS, FSS, ESSPRI, ESSDAI ESR, interleukin-6, IgG, IgA, IgM and quantitation of antinuclear antibody(P < 0.05 to P < 0.01), negatively correlated with C3(P < 0.05), and not correlated with CRP and C4.
Conclusions Patients with primary Sjögren′s syndrome have a high incidence of sleep disturbances, which are closely associated with factors such as age, anxiety and depressive symptoms, and disease activity.
