Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the expression levels of soluble vascular cell adhesion molecule-1(sVCAM-1) and leucine rich repeat interacting protein-1 (LRRFIP1) in serum and decidual of patients with missed abortion,and their correlation with inflammation and oxidative stress.
Methods: A total of 72 missed abortion patients from the department of obstetrics and gynecology were selected as the study group,and 50 healthy early pregnant women who voluntarily terminated pregnancy in the same period were selected as the control group.The levels of sVCAM-1,LRRFIP1,interleukin(IL)-17,IL-18,IL-23,superoxide dismutase(SOD),reactive oxygen species(ROS) and malondialdehyde(MDA) in serum and decidua were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The correlation between the levels of sVCAM-1 and LRRFIP1 in serum and decidua of missed abortion patients,and indexes of inflammation and oxidative stress were analyzed by Pearson method.The logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of missed abortion in pregnant women.
Results: The levels of sVCAM-1 and SOD in serum and decidua of the study group were greatly lower than those in control group(
P<0.01),and the levels of LRRFIP1,IL-17,IL-18,IL-23,ROS and MDA in the study group were greatly higher than those in control group(
P<0.05).The results of Pearson analysis showed that the serum level of sVCAM-1 was negatively correlated with IL-17,IL-18,IL-23 and ROS(
P<0.01),and positively correlated with SOD(
P<0.01);the serum level of LRRFIP1 was positively correlated with IL-17,IL-18,IL-23 and ROS(
P<0.05 to
P<0.01),and negatively correlated with SOD(
P<0.05);the level of sVCAM-1 in decidual tissue was negatively correlated with IL-17,ROS and MDA(
P<0.05),and positively correlated with SOD(
P<0.01);the level of LRRFIP1 in decidual tissue was positively correlated with IL-17,IL-18,IL-23 and ROS(
P<0.05 to
P<0.01),and negatively correlated with SOD(
P<0.05).The results of logistic regression analysis showed that the increase of IL-17,IL-18,IL-23,ROS,MDA and LRRFIP1 were the risk factors of missed abortion in pregnant women(
P<0.05),and the increase of SOD and sVCAM-1 were the protective factors of missed abortion in pregnant women(
P<0.05 and
P<0.01).
Conclusions: The expression levels of sVCAM-1 in serum and decidua of missed abortion patients are low,and the expression levels of LRRFIP1 are high,both are correlated with the levels of inflammation and oxidative stress.The clinical detection of sVCAM-1 and LRRFIP1 levels is of great significance in predicting the risk of missed abortion of pregnant women.
