Abstract:
Objective: To explore the application value of live intelligent surgery combined with PBL teaching method in otorhinolaryngology graduate education.
Methods: A total of 74 professional graduate students of otorhinolaryngology were randomly divided into the observation group and control group(37 students in each group).The control group was taught with traditional teaching model,and the observation group was taught with live intelligent surgery combined with PBL teaching method.At the end of the teaching,the basic theoretical knowledge,clinical case analysis,skill operation assessment and satisfaction were investigated in two groups.
Results: The total score,case analysis score and skill operation score in the observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(
P<0.01),and there was no statistical significance in theoretical assessment score between two groups(
P>0.05).The results of the questionnaire survey showed that the scores of the theoretical knowledge understanding,clinical skills,learning interest,clinical thinking,doctor-patient communication ability,self-learning ability,teacher-student interaction and love of current teaching method in the observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(
P<0.01).The learning satisfaction of the observation group was 94.59%(35/37),which was significantly higher than that of control group(72.97%)(27/31)(
P<0.01).
Conclusions: Live intelligent surgery combined with PBL teaching method can effectively improve the clinical comprehensive ability of otorhinolaryngology graduate students,and it is worth further promoting in otorhinolaryngology teaching.
