Abstract:
Objective: To explore the mediating effects of psychological resilience and perceived social support on stigma and treatment compliance in gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM) patients.
Methods: A total of 212 patients with GDM were studied,and the general information questionnaire,PSSS scale,CD-RISC10 scale,SSS scale and MMAS-8 scale were used to conduct a questionnaire survey,and the relationships among CD-RISC10,PSSS,SSS and MMAS-8 were analyzed.
Results: A total of 204 valid questionnaires were obtained.The scores of PSSS,CD-RISC10,MMAS-8 and SSS in GDM patients were (57.34±8.34) points,(61.34±13.21) points,(4.67±1.22) points and (68.64±13.57) points,respectively.The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that the CD-RISC10 score was positively correlated with PSSS score(
r=0.924,
P<0.01),the CD-RISC10 score was positively and negatively correlated with MMAS-8 score and SSS score(
r=0.893 and -0.793,
P<0.01),the PSSS score was negatively correlated with SSS score(
r=-0.665,
P<0.01),the PSSS score was positively correlated with MMAS-8 score(
r=0.865,
P<0.01),and the SSS score was negatively correlated with MMAS-8 score(
r=-0.781,
P<0.01).Taking SSS as variable
X,MMAS-8 as variable
Y,PSSS and CD-RISC10 as variable
M,the mediating effect was analyzed.The structural equation model of PSSS and CD-RISC10's mediating role between SSS and MMAS-8 showed that the direct effect of SSS on MMAS-8 was -0.29(63.65%),the mediating effect of PSSS and CD-RISC10 existed between SSS and MMAS-8,and the indirect effect on MMAS-8 was 0.17(36.35%),of which PSSS was 0.03 (6.06%),and the CD-RISC10 was 0.14(30.29%).
Conclusions: The psychological resilience and perceived social support are significantly correlated with stigma and treatment compliance in GDM patients,and using psychological resilience treatment compliance and perceived social support as intermediary variables can improve the predictive effects of stigma on treatment compliance.
