Abstract:
Objective To explore the application effects of an artificial intelligence (AI)-empowered, smart teaching model in medical immunology.
Methods Two classes of the clinical medicine major in a medical college were selected as the research subjects. The control group was taught using the traditional teaching mode, while the observation group was taught using the smart teaching model of medical immunology assisted by artificial intelligence. The written test scores, comprehensive scores, self-evaluation of learning interest, information processing and analysis ability, satisfaction with classroom attention, knowledge memory and teaching methods and evaluation of the teaching effects in two groups were collected and analyzed.
Results The test paper scores and comprehensive scores in the observation group were higher than those in control group(P < 0.05), and their satisfaction with the teaching mode was also significantly higher than that in control group(P < 0.01).
Conclusions Artificial intelligence technology has played an important enabling role in the smart teaching model of immunology, and achieved good teaching results.
