Abstract:
Objective To explore the application effects of optimized path teaching mode based on confidence professional behavior in orthopedic nursing practice teaching.
Methods Nursing students who practiced in the orthopedic trauma ward were selected as the research subject.According to the sequence of practice time, 41 nursing students who practiced from April to October 2023 were selected as the control group, and the conventional path teaching mode was adopted.Forty-five nursing students who were on internship from April to October 2024 were selected as the observation group, and an optimized path teaching mode based on confidence professional behavior was adopted. After the practice, the theoretical and operational skill assessment scores, core competencies and teaching satisfaction in two groups were investigated and compared.
Results The theoretical and operational skill scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P < 0.05 and P < 0.01).Except for the dimensions of ethics and legal practice, which showed no statistically significant difference between two groups(P>0.05), the scores of all other dimensions in the observation group were higher than those in control group(P < 0.05 to P < 0.01), and the teaching satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P < 0.01).
Conclusions The optimized path teaching mode based on confidence professional behavior can enhance the core competencies of orthopedic trainee nurses, and improve teaching quality and satisfaction.
