Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the effects of the quality control circle(QCC) activity on reducing the incidence of the needle sticking injury in nursing students.
Methods: The incidence of the needle sticking injury in 514 nursing students was investigated before and after QCC activity,the effects of whose were evaluated.
Results: The incidence of the needle sticking injury in nursing students after implementing a series of protecting measures was significantly lower than that before implementing(
P< 0.01).
Conclusions: The QCC activity can effectively reduce the incidence of the needle sticking injury,and ensure the safety of the professional practice in nursing students.
