Abstract:
Objective: To observe the clinical response and side effect of docetaxel combined with cisplatin in treatment of advanced breast cancer.
Methods: All the patients were administered docetaxel 70 mg/m
2 iv drip d1,and dexamethasone 7.5 mg bid d1-3 twenty-four hours before chemotherapy.Cisplatin 25-30 mg/m
2 was given iv drip d1-3,every 3 weeks as a circle.
Results: Five cases presented complete remission(CR),and 29 cases partial remission(PR).The total response rate(PR+CR) was 72.3%.The main toxicity was neutropenia,nausea and vomiting.
Conclusions: The regimen of docetaxel combined with cisplatin has significant antitumor activity for patients with advanced breast cancer.
