Abstract:
Objective: To explore the clinical effect of three procedures for hysterectomy.
Methods: The clinical data of 185 cases of hysterectomy were reviewed retrospectively.Seventy-eight cases received total abdominal hysterectomy,56 cases total vaginal hysterectomy and 51 cases laparoscopy-assisted vaginal hysterectomy.The effect and outcome were compared.
Results: There was no significant difference in surgery time and anus exhaust time among the 3 groups(
P>0.05).Total abdominal hysterectomy group were obviously supior to total vaginal hysterectomy group and laparoscopy-assisted vaginal hysterectomy group in average bleeding amount and time of hospital stay(
P<0.01).
Conclusions: Each of the 3 surgical procedures has its own advantages,so the choice of operation shoud be based on the overall evaluation of the patients' condition,the doctors' skill and the hospitals' condition.
