Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the effects of perioperative comprehensive respiratory function training on postoperative lung founction after abdominal surgery in elderly patients.
Methods: Seventy-three elderly patients treated with laparoscopic appendectomy or cholecystectomy were randomly divided into the control group(36 cases) and observation group(37 cases). The control group and observation group were treated with the routine nursing and respiratory function training, respectively. The postoperative complication, preoperative and postoperative lung function and blood gas between two groups were compared.
Results: The difference of the incidence rate of complication between two grouops was not statistically significnat(
P>0.05).Compared before operation, the postoperative FEV1 and FEV1/FEV in control group were decreased(
P<0.05),and the postoperative FEV1 and FEV1/FEV in observation group were improved compared with the control group(
P<0.05).Compared before operation,the postoperative SaO
2 and PaO
2 significantly decreased, and the postoperative PaCO
2 increased in control group(
P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the postoperative SaO
2,PaO
2 and PaCO
2 in observation group were improved(
P<0.05).
Conclusions: The perioperative comprehensive respiratory function training is an important way in improving respiratory function after laparoscopic surgery, which can help to reduce the incidence of postoperative respiratory complications.
