Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the effects of transurethal resection of postate(TURP) in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH).Methods:The clinical data of 134 patients with BPH treated with TURP were retrospectively analyzed.Results:All patients were followed up for 3 months,and cured.The international prostate symptom score,maximum flow rate,life quality score and residual urine volume were significantly improved after operation(P0.01).The curative effect is good,and no serious complication was found.Conclusions:The TURP treating BPH is an effective and safe means.
